Pricing & Payment Policy
1. Introduction
This Payment, Pricing and Secure Transactions Policy sets out the terms governing how Cineviz processes payments, manages pricing, and handles transaction-related matters for all orders placed through its platform. These terms explain the customer’s obligations at the time of payment, the operational conditions under which Cineviz processes and validates orders, and the responsibilities that apply to both parties throughout the completion of a transaction. Customers proceeding with a purchase acknowledge that every order they place is governed by this policy and that Cineviz processes all transactions strictly in accordance with the guidelines outlined below.
2. Accepted Methods of Payment and Conditions for Processing
Cineviz accepts payments exclusively through prepaid digital methods that are enabled on the platform at the time of checkout. These may include debit or credit cards, UPI, net banking and other digital payment instruments supported by our payment gateway partners. Cineviz does not offer Cash on Delivery under any circumstance, as all fulfilment processes depend on confirmed payments before dispatch. A customer who proceeds with a payment acknowledges that the transaction must be successfully authorised by the issuing bank or payment service provider. If the transaction fails, is declined or remains incomplete, Cineviz cannot treat the order as valid and cannot proceed with any fulfilment activities until the payment is successfully processed.
3. Pricing, Taxes and Promotional Adjustments
All prices displayed on the Cineviz website represent the current retail price applicable to the listed product at the moment of purchase. These prices may include taxes as mandated by applicable laws or may reflect tax-inclusive pricing based on product category and prevailing regulations. Promotional pricing, limited-period offers or discount-based reductions apply strictly for the duration in which they are advertised and cannot be extended retroactively once an order has been placed. Price changes occurring after a purchase do not entitle the customer to a refund or adjustment, and Cineviz reserves the right to modify product prices at any time based on operational and business requirements.
4. Transactions Involving International Cards and Currency Conversion
Customers using international payment instruments should note that all transactions on Cineviz are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). Foreign exchange conversion rates applied by issuing banks or payment processors are outside Cineviz’s control and may vary depending on the customer’s geographic location, bank policies and the currency in which their card is issued. Additional charges such as international transaction fees or cross-border levies are determined solely by the customer’s financial institution. Cineviz cannot be held responsible for differences arising from these currency conversions or for bank-imposed charges.
5. Handling of Payment Failures and Bank-Initiated Reversals
In situations where a customer’s payment is deducted but the order is not successfully created due to a system error, gateway timeout or interruption during the transaction process, the payment is typically reversed automatically by the bank or payment gateway as per their standard timelines. Cineviz does not have the ability to expedite reversals or influence bank processing speeds. Customers may be required to provide transaction reference details if they wish to verify the status of such payments. Once the bank completes the reversal, the amount will reflect in the customer’s account as per their financial institution’s processing schedule.
6. Verification, Fraud Prevention and Transaction Review
Cineviz reserves the right to review any payment or order for signs of irregularities or potential misuse. If any behaviour appears suspicious, such as repeated payment failures, use of questionable credentials, mismatched details or any pattern that resembles fraudulent activity, Cineviz may place the order on hold or cancel it entirely. In some cases, Cineviz may request additional verification from the customer to ensure the legitimacy of the transaction. Cineviz also reserves the right to block customer accounts that have engaged in payment-related abuse, chargeback misuse or attempts to defraud the system. These measures exist to protect both Cineviz and customers from potential financial risk.
7. Refunds Arising From Stock Unavailability or Operational Limitations
Cineviz follows a replacement-first approach for eligible issues related to damage or order fulfilment. However, in rare circumstances where a product is unavailable for replacement due to inventory exhaustion, a refund may be processed. Such refunds are always issued to the same payment method originally used for the purchase. Refunds cannot be redirected to alternative accounts or methods. Cineviz does not issue refunds for courier delays, dissatisfaction with content, customer preferences or any concern unrelated to stock unavailability or verified transit damage.
8. Security of Payment Information and Data Protection Responsibilities
All payments processed on the Cineviz platform are handled through secure, industry-approved payment gateways that follow robust authentication and encryption protocols. Cineviz does not store sensitive card data, banking information or payment credentials on its servers. The security of customer payment information is ensured by the compliance standards maintained by the payment gateway partners, and customers are encouraged to ensure that the cards or accounts they use for payment are authorised and secure.
9. Completion of Transaction and Binding Acceptance of This Policy
Once a customer completes a payment and receives order confirmation, the transaction is considered final and binding. By proceeding with payment, the customer confirms that they understand and accept all the terms outlined in this Pricing & Payment Policy. Cineviz treats each completed transaction as an agreement governed by these guidelines, and customers cannot later contest the terms after payment has been completed.
